1. Who this covers
This agreement (“License”) is between you (an individual or an organisation) and Awesoft. It governs all software published by Awesoft, including extensions for Magento 2 and Adobe Commerce, WordPress plugins, Docker images and any other tools, together with their templates, documentation and related services. It applies however you obtain the software: from this website, the Adobe Commerce Marketplace, WordPress.org, GitHub, Docker Hub, by email or by any other means.
Some Awesoft products are also distributed under an open-source licence, for example the GPL for WordPress plugins or the MIT licence for the PHP Docker image. For those products, the rights granted by that open-source licence take precedence wherever they conflict with this License; nothing here takes away a right the open-source licence gives you. All other terms of this License, including the limitation of liability, still apply.
2. Acceptance
By purchasing, downloading, installing or using Awesoft software you confirm that you have read this License and agree to it. If you do not agree, do not install or use the software.
The License takes effect when you obtain the software by any means, including downloading it from this website, a marketplace or plugin directory, a code or image registry, or receiving it by email or another form of delivery.
3. What you get
With every Awesoft product:
- You receive 100% of the source code (PHP, JavaScript, templates or configuration, as delivered), unencrypted and readable.
- For commercial products, you receive a License Certificate with a unique serial number. It is valid for one production installation (a live store, site or deployment) and an unlimited number of test environments, for as long as you use the product or until Awesoft terminates the License for non-compliance.
- You may customise the software to suit your own site, store or infrastructure.
4. Installation and use
For commercial products, a separate License is required for every production installation of the software. You may not use any part of the software, in whole or in part, in other software, products or websites. Copyright and proprietary notices supplied with the product, including any links or notices at the bottom of the product, must be kept as provided.
5. Distribution, rental and transfer
Subject to section 1 for open-source products, you may not share or distribute Awesoft software to third parties, for commercial or non-commercial purposes, without prior written authorisation from Awesoft. Hosting the software on a publicly accessible network for distribution is also prohibited. You may not sell, rent, lease, sublicense or lend the software to any third party.
6. Compliance with laws
You must comply with all laws and regulations that apply to your use of Awesoft products. Awesoft software is protected by copyright and intellectual property law. Infringing those rights may lead to legal action, including revocation of your License.
7. Termination
Awesoft may terminate this License if you breach its terms. On termination your right to use the software ends and you must delete all copies in your possession. Continued use after termination may result in legal action, including injunctions, and you may be required to compensate Awesoft for damages and legal costs.
8. Limitation of liability
Awesoft is not liable for any loss or damage, including but not limited to lost revenue, business interruption or loss of data, arising from the use of or inability to use its software. Awesoft is not responsible for legal consequences arising from misuse of its products.
9. Changes to this License
Awesoft may revise this License at any time. The version published on this page applies from the date shown at the top of it.
