Overview
Replace the Magento 2 admin password form with Google sign-in. Administrators authenticate with the Google Workspace account they already use, you decide which domains are allowed in, and new admins can be created and assigned a role the first time they sign in. Turn the default login form off entirely and password reuse, phishing and shared credentials stop being an admin risk.
Features
- Google OAuth sign-in: enter your Google OAuth client ID and secret in the admin and the login page gets a Sign in with Google button.
- Disable the password form: optionally hide Magento’s own login form so Google is the only way in.
- Restrict by domain: limit sign-in to one or more Google Workspace domains, such as your company’s.
- Create admins on first sign-in: unknown users from an allowed domain can be created automatically instead of invited by hand.
- Assign a role automatically: choose the admin role every auto-created user receives.
Requirements
- A Google Cloud project with an OAuth 2.0 client ID for a web application
- Magento 2.4 or Adobe Commerce 2.4
